Es un servicio que se ofrece al visitante en los meses estivales y consiste en recorridos en microbús, acompañados de un guía.
El Servicio de Interpretación Ambiental de la Zona de Altas Cumbres de Sierra Nevada facilita el conocimiento de las características más relevantes de este entorno privilegiado, el PARQUE NACIONAL DE SIERRA NEVADA, ofreciéndole un agradable paseo por la historia, medio físico, paisaje y biología de la parte alta del macizo.
El servicio consiste en un recorrido guiado en microbús. Parte del municipio de CAPILEIRA, (junto al punto de información del Parque Nacional), en pleno corazón de la Alpujarra Granadina y llega hasta la zona conocida como ALTO DEL CHORRILLO (2.700m), fantástico mirador sobre el valle del Poqueira, dando vistas a la majestuosidad de las altas Cumbres de Sierra Nevada, las sierras del entorno y, en días despejados, al mar Mediterráneo. Desde estos puntos puede realizar múltiples itinerarios y disfrutar de hermosas vistas. Si desea más información la puede obtener en el propio microbús, en el Área de Estancia y Control de la Hoya del Portillo y en el punto de información de Capileira.

The SIAC is a service offered to visitors in the summer months and consists of minibus tours, accompanied by a guide.
The Environmental Interpretation Service of the Altas Cumbres Zone of Sierra Nevada facilitates knowledge of the most relevant characteristics of this privileged environment, the SIERRA NEVADA NATIONAL PARK, offering you a pleasant walk through the history, physical environment, landscape and biology of the upper part of the massif.
The service consists of a guided minibus tour. It starts from the municipality of CAPILEIRA, (next to the National Park information point), in the heart of the Alpujarra Granadina and reaches the area known as ALTO DEL CHORRILLO (2,700m), a fantastic viewpoint over the Poqueira valley, giving views of the majesty of the high peaks of the Sierra Nevada, the surrounding mountains and, on clear days, the Mediterranean Sea. From these points you can take multiple itineraries and enjoy beautiful views. If you want more information, you can obtain it on the minibus itself, in the Stay and Control Area of Hoya del Portillo and at the Capileira information point.
